The Foster family has a long history in the Angus breed that stems primarily from our participation in junior activities. The experiences and opportunities that we gained throughout the past were made possible by our involvement in the Angus Association and many of the people in it who have now become dear friends. Our involvement in the Angus breed stems three generations; Lois is a past American Angus Auxiliary President. Scott and Bruce have been active in the Michigan Cattlemen’s and Michigan Angus Association, and Scott served on the American Angus Association Board of Directors. Andrew was named the 2013 American Angus Association Herdsman of the year and is a past NJAA Jr Board Vice-Chairman, along with Danielle who is a past Leadership Director on the NJAA Jr Board and was the 2008 Miss American Angus.

Bruce, Scott and Andrew place a strong emphasis on cow power, and have assembled a genetic line-up of some of the highest profile cow families in the show cattle industry. Our goal is to produce cattle that will compete at the highest level and continue to perform as a valuable breeding tool in our customers’ operation. We strongly believe that our genetics are capable of stretching far beyond the show ring, and have value in multiple segments of the cattle industry.

As our program is directed toward selling show cattle to fellow Angus breeders, Junior Angus Members, 4-H and FFA members, we focus on customer service. We stand behind our cattle and strive to meet our customers’ goals and help their cattle reach their maximum potential.

Make plans to attend our annual production sale, “The Angus Connection” in October, featuring our top show heifer prospects as well as leading bred females. We also sell a select set of females as well as our top bulls privately throughout the year.
